We have been getting a lot of sightings of Hummingbird Hawk-moths this week, such as this video shared with us by Andy Dean. These day-flying moths are more usually seen at the height of summer. Hummingbird hawk-moths are typically migrant visitors which can overwinter here during mild winters - but the cold frosts this year would have killed many of them.
