As an expert in coercive control what am I looking for to assess a case for coercive control and establish the pattern? First, that there is a pattern of coercive and controlling behaviors over time. Two, that pattern is used to harm punish or frighten the victim, and three the behaviors result in a loss of liberty for the targeted victim.
