January 13th is National Public Radio Broadcasting Day! On this day in 1910, the first radio broadcast in the United States took place in New York during a live performance at the Metropolitan Opera House. While we don’t think too much about radio for entertainment these days, radio had its beginnings in Sacramento 104 years ago.
