This beautiful wolf got a brand new collar during CDFW operations in late January 🖤 She’s a female wolf from the Harvey Pack, either from the 2024 or 2025 litter. She went on an incredible journey last month — once captured, CDFW flew her in a helicopter to a nearby field site. There she was fitted with a collar and screened for diseases and overall health, including body measurement and DNA and blood samples. Soon after, she was released on public land close to her original capture location. H
