A small amount of PPD (Purified Protein Derivative) is injected intradermally into the forearm. --- 📝 Procedure 💉 Inject 0.1 ml PPD intradermally (ID) ⏳ Read the result after 48–72 hours 📏 Measure induration (hard swelling) — not redness --- 📊 Interpretation ✔ Positive Test: ≥ 10 mm → Positive in normal individuals ≥ 5 mm → Positive in: 🧬 HIV patients 💊 Immunosuppressed 🤝 Recent TB
