🐦 Since 1970, chimney swift populations have declined by 90%. Once nesting in hollow trees, chimney swifts adapted to city life — raising their young in chimneys after forests were cleared. But as old chimneys disappear and insect populations decline, these agile flyers are losing both homes and food.
