Last week, Borderlands Research Institute collaborated with Texas Parks and Wildlife Department on a big game capture at Elephant Mountain and Black Gap Wildlife Management Areas. With help from students at Texas Tech's Natural Resource Management Department and members of Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation's Stewards of the Wild, the team captured 35 bighorn, 60 mule deer, and 41 aoudad to add tags and collect samples.
