The band pull apart is a great exercise for warm-ups and rehab for shoulder issues. When @martinslicis was performing this exercise at first, he was just pulling the bands out to the side. After a few reps he noticed the front of his left shoulder hurting a bit. Then when I cued him to retract his shoulder blades a bit and THEN pull the band out to the side, he was able to feel his posterior shoulder working hard and no longer had pain on the front of his shoulder. .
