The Type 96 25mm AA dual purpose gun was the primary Air Defense weapon used by The Imperial Japanese forces in World War II. The weapon was installed in all warships of the Nihun Kaigun . The effectiveness is less than 1000 meters which deteriorated in the final years of the war as shells become scares.
