Despite losing their Carabao Cup semi-final, Chelsea attempted a new way of stopping Arsenal set-pieces - just days after a similar suggestion on Match of the Day.
Arsenal reached the Carabao Cup final after beating Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium. A late Kai Havertz goal saw the hosts advance 1-0 tonight, 4-2 on aggregate in north London. Havertz rounded Robert Sanchez on the counter-attack in a match of very few strong chances.
Chelsea have been knocked out of the Carabao Cup after a 1-0 defeat in the second leg of the semi-final to Arsenal, who go through to the final with a 4-2 aggregate.
